1. Blogging Your Way To Hobby Profits: I’m sure by now you’ve heard of what a blog is, and if not, where the dickens have you been, my friend? A blog is basically a web platform in which anyone can get started in publishing their content on the internet. Nearly everyone has a blog these days.
One of the ways in which you can make money blogging around your hobby is this: if your passion is bird watching…how about create a blog that talks all about bird watching? There are hundreds and thousands of other bird watching folks just like you that would be interested in what you have to share on your blog. You make money by placing AdSense codes on your blog – everytime someone visits your blog, Ca-ching!
2. Review Site Marketing: If you have a passion to learn as much as you can about say, afghan patterns, you can create a basic site discussing reviews of such a topic. To give you a better example, you can review another one of your hobby or passions such as bird feeders/feeding.
If you’ve made a purchase of such an item and have an opinion of it, how about putting up a basic review site in which you talk about it. Search online for merchants selling this product and see if they have an affiliate program – this simply pays you a commission if you feel their product is worthy of being recommended.
3. Info-Publishing: Here is something that you may not have known: Most people come on the internet to search for information. They say that “content is king” and that is so very true. Online, words, articles, information makes Google very happy. And if your hobby has anything to do with doll making or skiing, you can certainly create a basic information product about it for sale online. It is something that will bring you an income on a long term basis and you will never run out of customers to sell your product to.
In this article, we discussed various methods in which one can make $$ with their love of their hobby, passion, and/or interest. The first money model we looked at was using the blogging platform to make money. The second way was creating a review site to recommend products revolving around your hobby. And, lastly, we discussed creating your own info product and to sell it on the internet for long term profits.
